Production was launched at Lonshi Copper Mine in DRC on September 20, when all construction works required for mining, processing and smelting successfully completed.

The acquisition of Lonshi Copper Mine was closed in April of 2021, from when JCHX holds 100% of shares of the mine. Standard cathode copper will be produced via wet smelting system. It is designed in the schedule to realize production ramp up by the end of 2024, when the annual production of copper metal will be around 40,000t, with a designed ROM capacity of 1.5 mtpa.

Lonshi Copper Mine is the second copper mine owned by JCHX that successfully launches production, following Dikulushi Copper Mine in DRC. It is of great significance for JCHX to further promote business development based on resources investment sector, improve industrial layout, and pursue a continuous, stable and sound advancement.
